Our Society volunteers and their visiting Dogs can now be found visiting with passengers at Kelowna International Airport.
This brand new program started in October with Jeepster and her handler Pauline being the first official Ambassadogs at YLW.
More dogs are starting in this program and hope to have their certification soon.
You will be able to relieve the stress of flying by enjoying a visit with one of the Ambassadogs on your next visit to Kelowna Airport.

Our Society are bringing their pets to Kelowna Airport as a part of a pilot project as dog ambassadors. The Program started in September of 2017.
Golden-doodle Jeepster and owner Pauline Harmatny have been walking the halls of YLW since the program started. More volunteers are being trained to work at the Airport . Soon there will be 8 Dog Ambassadors to provide stress relief and anxiety for travelers travelling to or from Kelowna Airport
